Migration is one of today’s most urgent and multifaceted global challenges. The Leadership in Migration Initiative (LMI), a joint program of the Fletcher School at Tufts University and the Robert Bosch Stiftung, identifies, develops, and connects leaders who approach migration with empathy, strategic vision, and a commitment to inclusive solutions.

LMI recognizes that migration is both a deeply human experience and a complex policy challenge. Through a combination of research, public programs, convenings, and innovative leadership training, the initiative equips leaders across government, civil society, multilateral organizations, and the private sector with the tools to navigate uncertainty, build coalitions, influence policy, and implement effective, real-world solutions.
